"...That Said, I recommend you to get Elements if you are getting serious about photo editing. Elements will save you a lot of time and effort and the majority of what you learn can be easily transferred to the full version, Adobe Photoshop. If you find that one day you have outgrown Elements 7, your skills will still be usable on a upgraded version of Photoshop or PhotoShop Elements"
